We got a Novelis Global Supplier Award! It is an honor for us to be recognized this way for the work we do to supply sustainable packaging solutions that support Novelis’ ambitious 3×30 vision to decrease CO2 emissions and increase circularity in their industry.
Lamiflex has been a supplier to Novelis for over 20 years. Novelis was early to adopt VCI infused stretchfilm to prevent scrapping due to corrosion, and automated packaging for improved productivity and safety, first with the PushWrapper, then with the MultiWrapper. Together, we implemented recycling of plastic coil packaging materials, to minimize waste and close the material loop.
The award was presented to Lamiflex’s Marcus Schröder and Thomas Schoppmann by Gabriella Honti, Novelis Director of Procurement Europe and Anna Maria Junghanns, Procurement Manager at Novelis, and is signed by Novelis CEO Steve Fisher and VP of Global Procurement Rakesh Singh.
