We have completed our CO₂ emissions calculation and created a clear roadmap to reduce our carbon footprint. Our roadmap focuses on measurable goals and a tangible action plan to meet the requirements of European customers and authorities.
Understanding our emissions: Scope 1, 2 & 3
Scope 1 – Direct emissions from our own vehicles, machinery and equipment.
Scope 2 – Indirect emissions from purchased energy, such as heating and charging of electric vehicles.
Scope 3 – Indirect emissions from upstream and downstream activities, including purchased goods, transport, and product lifecycle.
Our emission reduction targets
Scope 1 & 2: Reduce emissions by 20% by 2027
Scope 3: Reduce emissions by 15% by 2027
We will repeat our emissions calculation every year to track and report our progress. All calculations follow the GHG Product Standard framework.
What drives our emissions — and how we reduce them
Our biggest emission source is purchased goods, primarily the raw materials used in our packaging products. By shifting to recycled raw materials, we can significantly reduce our total carbon footprint.
We are also taking several additional actions, including:
- Transitioning to sustainable fuels and electric vehicles
- Requesting more sustainable transport options from partners
- Investing in energy‑efficient machinery and technology
