The objective is enhanced productivity but also improvements to safety and ergonomics. Adrian Wisla, application and digitalization manager at ArcelorMittal Poland points to the MultiWrapper as a solution that reduce the workload of employees by wrapping coils of up to 20 tons in just 4 minutes.

ArcelorMittal Poland has also implemented cameras that can read wagon numbers to replace manual recording in the Zdzieszowice, Kraków and Dąbrowa Górnicza facilities. Other solutions include using drones for monitoring and using augmented reality for remote technical support at production lines.

At Lamiflex we are proud to be a supplier to such a forward-thinking producer and can only applaud the advances made!
